“From Legacy to Action: Leadership That Transforms”
The Work Plan of Maricruz Álvarez Brenes , candidate for International President-Elect 2026–2027 of Active 20-30 International, stems from a commitment to build upon past achievements and transform with purpose.
Her proposal is inspired by the living history of the organization, the contributions of previous administrations, and the conviction that leadership only makes sense when it listens, connects, and empowers others to grow. This document presents a strategic roadmap that integrates tradition, innovation, and sustainability, guiding Activo 20-30 toward a future where identity, training, and global cooperation are the pillars of every action.
General purpose
To consolidate management that strengthens the sense of belonging, fosters intergenerational participation, and enhances the transformative leadership of each member.
The plan seeks to preserve the essence of the organization while adapting it to new times, promoting international collaboration, continuous education, and sustainability as permanent pillars of action.
Strategic vision
The proposed leadership understands that change is only possible when continuity is guided by purpose.
This plan acknowledges the progress achieved by previous administrations and integrates it into a coherent structure that allows the organization to move forward on solid foundations, strengthening communication, innovation, and community impact.
It promotes a more connected organization where clubs share experiences, resources, and learning, and where every member’s voice contributes to collective decision-making.
